Steve Maraboli, a public speaker, author, and behavioral scientist, said it best:
“The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward.”
Letting things go is one of the hardest things for me to do. It has been a long journey for me to learn to accept things and move on, to apologize whether I feel I need to or not, and to forgive even my worst enemies. I admit I still fall short. But living a positive life means leaving the negativity behind, and it’s something you can practice every day.

Disney’s Frozen has been my favorite movie since the day it came out. I love how it focuses on the love that is shared within a family. My family means the world to me and I could not imagine a life without their support and encouragement. They have helped me through thick and thin. They’ve shown me when to let go and move on. They’ve shown me what to hold on to. They are my rock and I am truly blessed to be able to lean on them.
I can always count on Disney to bring me happiness. I’m sure my husband gets sick of it, but I never will.
Having a bad day? There’s a Disney movie for that. Hint: any of them.
Feeling stuck? There’s a Disney movie for that. Marlin traveled all the way across the ocean to find his son and never stopped pushing through obstacles.
Had your heart broken? There’s a Disney movie for that. Ariel had to watch the love of her life (begin to) marry someone else.
Failed an exam? There’s a Disney movie for that. Mulan was able to climb to the top of that post and so can you.
The point is… Disney or not, there are resources to help you move on. I’m always here to help. I can recommend Disney movies for days, or I can simply listen.
